Trying out new things this weekend, I decided to make a bust. I started without any ideas and what a mistake that was! I started over about 5 times before ending up with this guy. I'm liking the end result but I think I need to get some gloss for the eyes and mouth.

First off, I just logged into Blogger today and I'm loving the new layout! It's clean, simple and easy to use. High five to Blogger on the changes :D

I am taking this week to get back into my art and make a lot of new stuff.. I have been saying that over and over for a while now and never getting much done so this time I mean it! As I create new items I will also be adding them to my

My Work Needs A Makeover

After submitting some of my doll photos to a magazine last week, I decided that they are kind of blah. Why did it take me this long to notice? Who knows but it must be fixed! I am now creating my own backdrops and will attempt to use fun lighting. I have no idea how to do the lighting part so wish me luck! Along with better photos will come a better website for the new year, YAY new designs! I can't wait to get started =)

My buttons and pocket mirrors came in today, yay! They look great. Now I just need to photograph those shiny buggers so that they look nice in photos, arg! Its a pain in the butt. Hopefully this weekend they will get shot and I will post some for sale in my etsy doll shop.

Well I was slightly one of those weirdo fans that act like an idiot when they meet an actor. I was at the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo this weekend. I went to meet Sid Haig and gave him some fan art. He is a super cool guy, gotta love him! I was sitting right next to him in the photo but I cloned myself out... who needs to see me anyways lol.

So I decided to make a doll that bleeds green since that's the teams color.... but it seems to look more like puke haha! Either way, the green is there and looks pretty cool. Xmas Look A Likes

Hey guys!
I made these dolls for my bosses xmas gifts. I hope they like them, they are their look a likes. Yup yup... so I think for the new year I will be turning to full clay dolls. In the past I was annoyed because I couldn't make tank tops or shorts, mini skirts etc because the bodies were cloth but now I will be able to put all the fun clothing on the dolls so that should be a nice new look.

I used to paint and draw all the time when I was younger.. I keep wanting to get back into it but every time I try I end up painting the canvas black and saying screw it lol. Anyways here is another attempt at painting. The dolls are on hold because its a busy month for me with no motivation.. maybe once xmas is over I will have some to post for everyone.
